CEW+ Scholar and current U-M doctoral candidate Betsy Cliff will explain the nuts and bolts of health insurance plans so that you can pick the best one to cover your health needs at the lowest cost. She’ll also talk about medical billing, and why you still pay for some healthcare even with insurance. This talk is best for people who get insurance either through an employer or who purchase it directly, though she will discuss eligibility for government programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
