Vox3Machina, on the roster of Great Lakes Performing Artist Associates, performs a diverse duo and trio repertoire, including works by Michigan composers David Biedenbender, Roshanne Etezady, and Carter Pann, as well as lush transcriptions from Bruch and more. This performance features the 2018-19 season premiere of SMTD Professor Stephen Rush’s LightRays, as well as Chicago composer James Stephenson’s 2015 Mahogany Moods, a title referencing both the trio’s uniquely rich sound and the first letters from each of their last names (M, H, G).
