HIRED-IN (Hiring Involvement in Recruiting For Equity, Diversity, and INclusion)

Formerly called “Diversifying Pools… And Then What?” and “My Candidate Pool is Diverse. Now What?”

This session is exclusively dedicated to LSA Staff and is required for all staff who are involved in the staff recruiting and selection process for LSA.

What are the benefits of attending?
- Increase knowledge regarding affirmative action goals
- Be made aware of how implicit bias can show up during the hiring process
- Discuss equitable hiring conventions
- Engage in exercises created to build awareness around unfair tendencies and practices
- Gain an awareness of the importance of consistent guidelines, evaluation and candidate experience.
- Learn about resources that exist right here in LSA and on campus!
