Winners of the Graduate and Undergraduate creative writing contests sponsored by the Hopwood Awards Program will be announced. A lecture by Kiese Laymon, author of Heavy: An American Memoir, the novel, Long Division and How to Slowly Kill Yourself and Others in America, a collection of essays, will follow the announcement of the awards. Reception in Rackham Assembly Hall after the ceremony.
