Prof. Christopher Blaha joined the music faculty of the University of Akron as an assistant professor of tuba and euphonium in 2014. He holds his DMA and MM in tuba performance from SMTD, where he studied with Prof. Fritz Kaenzig, and his BM in tuba performance from The Ohio State University, where he studied with James Akins.
