This brand-new workshop is specially designed for scholars who produce translation as a part of their academic publications. We'll cover useful concepts such as derivative works, exclusive rights of a copyright holder, public domain, fair use, contractual restrictions, copyright restoration, and jurisdiction. This workshop, led by Yuanxiao Xu of the U-M Library Copyright Office, will equip you with the necessary knowledge to make decisions on how to use your translation.
While we have provided a Zoom link for the workshop, please register if you plan to attend. Register via TeachTech, https://ttc.iss.lsa.umich.edu/ttc/sessions/the-copyright-of-translation/ , or by contacting Yuanxiao at xuyu@umich.edu.
