Complex cobordism with involutions and generalized complex orientations
I will describe an explicit calculation of the geometric cobordism ring of stably weakly complex manifolds with involution. I will then discuss a generalization of the concept of equivariant complex oriented spectra, which includes, as examples, ordinary equivariant cohomology with integral constant coefficients, the connective cover of equivariant K-theory, and the geometric equivariant complex cobordism spectrum. I will describe the (incredibly rich) algebraic structure of a filtered equivariant formal group law present on the coefficients of such spectra, and a universality theorem for the geometric complex cobordism ring.
