Analogies in Arithmetic Geometry and Dynamics

In this talk we will broadly discuss concepts in arithmetic geometry and their analogous counterparts in dynamical systems. We will discuss objects and definitions such as heights of rational points and of elliptic curves and their relation to dynamics, and a couple of conjectures in Shou-Wu Zhang's program
