Presented By: Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts
15th Annual Caldwell Poetry Award Performance
Featuring LSWA students and alum
You're invited to our 15th Annual Caldwell Poetry Award performance on Thursday, March 25 @ 7PM (Eastern).
Established in 2006 through a generous gift of Jeanne and Will M. Caldwell to the College of LSA, first- and second-year students of Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts compete for poetry prizes, which are awarded each year.
One category within the Caldwell Poetry Award is recitation. Students perform an original work or an oral interpretation of another poet's work for a committee of faculty and student judges. The winners will be announced later at the LSWA End of Year Festival (April 14).
It will be taking place on Zoom this year.
The whole LSWA community is invited to come enjoy this night of poetry and support the students who are performing. A 0.5 participation point will be given.
This year, family, friends, and our UM community members are invited. Please email LSWA@umich.edu to RSVP and let us know how you're connected to LSWA.
