James M. Cooke, M.D., and Lauryn Rochlen, M.D., will be presenting
“Clinical Track Promotion Process & New Criteria for Simulation Educators.”
The academic promotion process has undergone a number of changes in recent years to the benefit of educators on the Clinical Track. As part of this session, Drs. Rochlen & Cooke will share updates on the promotion process, new criteria and clarified definitions of scholarly contributions, items needed for promotion and an overview and timeline of the process at UMMS. They will also field questions from simulation educators to assist colleagues in utilizing the new promotion criteria.
