Fraternities and sororities have a long and rich history at the University of Michigan. Today, the fraternity and sorority program offers a unique and culturally diverse student experience to over 5,000 student members in chapters from our four governing councils. The Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the Panhellenic Association (Panhel) pride themselves on individuality, while recognizing common values and principles. This session will provide new and continuing students and families with an overview of Fraternity & Sorority Life, the recognized chapters, and additional resources about how to get involved.
