Under the open sky, four performers will enter a space of intimacy - where the desire to be close to one another after a year of distance propels their bodies into wild action and joyous abandon. Created against the backdrop of nature, audiences will experience a 25-minute immersive, outdoor performance with
four dancers and an original symphonic score by Scott Li, that catapults gorgeous melodic lines of longing into the intimacy of your earbuds. Linking topography, human form in movement, and the audience’s individual perspectives, TOGETHER IS CLOSE ENOUGH will lead each participant to a cathartic experience of closeness within our pandemic-induced seclusion. With daredevil physicality, VIM VIGOR communicates the complexity of human relationships through their signature dance-theater aesthetic, bodies will flare, emotions will flood, and the sharp urgency of our deepest feelings will rocket through space.
