The program opens with a captivating and mysterious new composition by Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Entropic Arrows.  Bunita Marcus's Adam and Eve is a beautiful piece about love that stimulates the imagination—"just the kind of piece everyone needs to hear now."  Finally, we celebrate 2021 Pulitzer Prize winner Tania León by performing her elegant and virtuosic chamber work Toque, inspired by the Cuban danzon "Almendra."
