D-modules on affine space
In this talk, we will define the Weyl algebra over the complex numbers and study modules over this ring, called D modules. We define the category of holonomic D modules, while focusing on examples and some nice properties of this category. Time permitting, we will explain a connection with differential equations and give a short introduction to the Riemann Hilbert correspondence. Speaker(s): Brad Dirks (UM)
