Parking functions and LLT polynomials

We will introduce parking functions, a combinatorial object whose q,t weighted sum appears in the statement of the shuffle conjecture. We will then define LLT polynomials and see that the q,t weighted sum of parking functions has an expansion in LLT polynomials. Speaker(s): Terrence George (UM)
