Arithmetic Statistics Questions Inspired by Classical Knot Invariants

Some classical knot invariants, such as the Seifert pairing, are arithmetic objects related to quadratic forms and ideal class groups. We discuss some interesting new questions in arithmetic statistics motivated by looking at these invariants arithmetically. Speaker(s): Alison Miller (University of Michigan)
