Variational Analysis and Optimization Seminar

On local analysis of multifunctions via subspaces contained in graphs of generalized derivatives

The lecture deals with a class of mappings, whose local behavior can be described by suitable linear subspaces. For these subspaces a calculus will be developed, enabling us to derive for the considered mappings an inverse and an implicit mapping theorems. These tools will then be used to establish a special Lipschitzian stability property for solution maps of a class of perturbed generalized equations.

It is based on a joint work with H. Gfrerer from Linz, Austria.
