Trans-Forum: the Lived Experiences of Transitioning
Presented by the Spectrum Center Programming Board
Register: https://bit.ly/LGBTQ-UM-Events
Join the Spectrum Center's Programming Board for a conversation about what it is like to transition. The structure of this event will be a panel of trans people who have been on hormone therapy and/or have had gender affirming surgery, with our intended audience being people who are interested in transitioning. We recognize the obstacles and questions that may arise for folx who want to transition and are looking to provide a space where people can hear what it is like, especially in terms of the social and emotional impacts transition can have on someone. We look forward to having you join us for our TransForum: The Lived Experiences of Transitioning event.
Spectrum Center Event Accessibility Statement:
The Spectrum Center is dedicated to working towards offering equitable access to all of the events we organize. If you have an accessibility need you feel may not be automatically met at this event, there is space to report that in the registration, or you can fill out our Event Accessibility Form, found at http://bit.ly/SCaccess. You do not need to have a registered disability with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) or identify as disabled to submit. Advance notice is necessary for some accommodations to be fully implemented, and we will always attempt to dismantle barriers as they are brought up to us. Any questions about accessibility at Spectrum Center events can be directed to spectrumcenter@umich.edu.
