The 2016 National Book Award for Nonfiction Winner and New York Times bestselling author Ibram X. Kendi joins the University of Michigan community to discuss the history of American racism. Kendi’s new book, Stamped from the Beginning, explains how looking deeper into the racist ideas entrenched in our society will enable us to develop a more equitable America.
